Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the use of this website and participation in programmes conducted by PURNA RESEARCH INSTITUTE.

1. Nature of payments

PURNA RESEARCH INSTITUTE is a charitable trust. Every amount received through this website is a voluntary donation towards the charitable and research objects of the Trust. It is not the price of a good or a commercial service, and no commercial guarantee attaches to it.

Where a donation is offered in connection with a specific programme, it supports the conduct of that programme and enables the donor's participation in it.

2. Programme registration

  • A registration is personal to the named participant and is not transferable without our written consent.
  • Registration is confirmed only after we send a confirmation to the email address or phone number you provide. Please make sure these are entered correctly.
  • Where a programme has limited capacity, places are allotted in the order registrations are received; a waitlist may be offered.
  • The Trust may reschedule, relocate, move online or cancel a session or programme when circumstances require. Registered participants will be informed at the contact details on record.

3. Participant conduct

Participants are asked to observe the discipline and timings of the centre, to respect fellow seekers and teachers, and to refrain from recording, photographing or redistributing sessions and materials without permission. The Trust may decline or discontinue participation where conduct disturbs a session or the centre.

4. Content and materials

Texts, recordings, translations and other materials made available by the Trust are for the personal study of participants. They may not be reproduced, sold or published without the Trust's written permission.

5. Payments

Online donations are processed by our payment partner. Card, UPI and bank credentials are entered on the payment partner's secure interface and are never seen or stored by the Trust. A donation is treated as received only when the payment partner confirms it as successful to us.

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

Programmes conducted by the Trust are offered for study and contemplative practice. They are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and are not a substitute for professional care. Participants take part on their own responsibility and are asked to use discretion regarding their health. To the extent permitted by law, the Trust's liability in connection with any programme or donation is limited to the amount of the donation received in respect of it.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them.

8. Changes to these terms

The Trust may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to registrations and donations made after it is posted.
