Privacy Policy

• Name, phone number and email address, given when you register for a programme or make a donation.
• Postal address, given where a donation receipt requires it.
• PAN, given voluntarily where you wish your donation to be reported for 80G purposes.
• Attendance and participation records for the programmes you join.
• Transaction details returned to us by our payment partner — amount, date, and a payment reference.

Card numbers, UPI identifiers, net-banking credentials and similar payment data are entered directly on the secure interface of our payment partner. The Trust never sees, receives or stores them. We hold only the payment reference and status needed to reconcile your donation and issue a receipt.

• To confirm your registration and send joining details, reminders and session changes.
• To issue a donation receipt and, where applicable, an 80G certificate.
• To meet our statutory reporting obligations as a charitable trust, including annual donation statements filed with the Income Tax Department.
• To share occasional news of forthcoming programmes, where you have consented to receive it.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. It is shared only with our payment partner (to process a donation), our email service provider (to deliver confirmations and receipts), our auditors and advisers, and government authorities where the law requires it.

We use Meta's pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to help Meta show them to people likely to be interested. When you make a donation or pay a programme fee, we share with Meta Platforms the amount paid, what it was for, the page address, your IP address and browser type, and Meta's own browser cookie identifiers. When you sign up, register, attend or donate, we also tell Meta that this step happened, together with your email, phone number, name and city in a one-way scrambled (hashed) form that Meta uses only to match the step to an ad. We never share your PAN or Aadhaar with Meta.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and nothing is shared unless they accept; each choice is recorded with its date and the version of the notice shown. Anyone can accept, reject or withdraw at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, and you can also manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

Donation records, receipts and the details supporting them are retained for the period required under Indian tax law — at present, eight years from the end of the relevant financial year. Registration and attendance records are retained while they remain useful to the Trust's work, and then archived or removed.

You may ask us at any time to correct your details, to stop sending you programme announcements, or to delete the information we hold about you. We will act on the request within 30 days, except where a record must be kept to satisfy the tax retention requirement described above.

Information is held in access-controlled systems, visible only to authorised members of the Trust's team, and transmitted over encrypted connections. Sensitive identity fields such as PAN are restricted to the small number of persons who prepare statutory returns.
